The 2021 Wyss Film Festival
For an unprecedented 11th consecutive year, the Wyss Film Festival lives on! 2021 brought another solid year of movie-watchin' in my house. And for the third year in a row, I watched more films than the previous year. 194 different flicks in 2021, to be exact. Compared to 184 movies in 2020, 177 in 2019, and 167 in 2018. I've slowly drained the DVD offerings of the Wisconsin Valley Library Service, which includes 25 public libraries in Clark, Forest, Langlade, Lincoln, Marathon, Oneida and Taylor Counties. I still try to get movies from my local libraries whenever I can, but I've had to rely much more on various streaming services to get my fix. And so, it is once again my pleasure to present all the films I watched in 2021, as well as my 20 favorites and 20 honorable mentions!
